In partnership with Turin-based SEPA, While1 has implemented a complete video surveillance system for the Mumbai Underground.

The system has been developed on a Linux embedded platform especially customized by While1 in each component (file-system, bootloader, ...) and able to communicate with the AMD card for video grabbing.

The following functionalities are provided:

• Recording on multiple channels and with customizable audio/video features.
• Enabled for programming of behavior, depending on specific events.
• Mixage of video signals.
• Remote control from operative center.

Currently in use on 100 trains of the Mumbai Underground.
